That's when Beau Beasley happened to strut by. If you don't know Beau, he's Cafeteria's very pretty, always up-and-at-'em marketing director. When I finally met him, I was a little surprised by the fact he was black and gay. Apparently it's a common mistake. He joked about how he comes off as a straight little white dude over the phone. In person, Beau actually resembles a better-looking Damon Wayans when the comedian performed those hilarious "Men on Film" skits on In Living Color. He even gave me a "two snaps up."Coincidentally, the night also happened to be the premiere of Beau's new party, Taste. DJ Cosmo played deep house in the back lounge as a consortium of sexy people frolicked about.
In between rounds of schmoozing, I got Beau to open up, though not the way he'd probably like to. He told me he left Pure nightclub in downtown Miami, where he was the main promo man, because, among other reasons, "it wasn't doing so well." He also admitted his real name: Bradley Milton Beasley the II. He hates it and made me promise not to tell anyone. Hey, if I keep every promise I make, I'll never get to be president.

Je fouille Google et je trouve aussi sur des sites où des recherches ont déjà été faites.

Beau a une vie sociale très active. Dans le Miami Herald du 13 juin 2005, on le retrouve dans l'organisation d'un gros party à l'occasion d'un concert de musique classique.
The New World Symphony season ended with a bash for over 300 guests at a Palm Island mansion. Some 75 people had to be turned away. Bravo for classical music. The event was hosted by FOTO (Friends of the Orchestra), a group of younger music lovers. The NWS musicians debuted music composed by Piotr Szewczk, showcasing another side of the ensemble with edgy pieces titled Rebel; Traffic Jam and Ocean Drive. Guests sipped Grey Goose ''Sympho-tinis'' and Sofia champagne as they sampled delicacies from Tantra, Cafeteria and the Crepe Maker. The Zen-like courtyard was decorated with white tents, torches and lanterns, Buddha heads and Balinese furniture.
After the performance, guests danced the night away to the sounds of DJ Tavin Reiter. The host committee included Hope Gainer, Beau Beasley, Monica Cady, Luis Castro, Tim and Lauren Funke, Lilly and Rene Sagebien, Ursula Gesser, Lindsay Glassman, Dr. Timothy Hogle and Irina Korneeva, Erika Koopman, Aaron Resnick.

This past Sunday at Anthem was a perfect example of a locals’ party. While the major party force had left town for Gay Pride the locals partied at Anthem, the new Sunday gay party at Mansion. Local DJs that either took a spin at the turntables or at least made an appearance included Connie Casserole, Power, Jody McDonald, DeeJay SmeeJay, DJ Shannon, JoJo Odyssey, Bill Halquest, Robert Rodriquez, DJ Pride and Craig Demo.
Performances were on the stages and in the lobby as old friends hugged and danced around each other. Among those seen (performing or not) included Attila, Jose Ortiz, Janet Jorgulesco, photographer Tom Grizzle, JoJo Infinity, photographer J.R.Davis, Flavio, Beau Beasley, Michael Gongora, James Davis, James Karpook & Rodney, Ricky Sanchez & David Staiano, Michael Stanley, Freyda and Joe Bonn at the door.
The party was hosted by Michael Tronn who was celebrating his birthday. During one part of the evening, New Yorker Ryan Heil (who used to host a South Beach party) commented that the party scene is such a unique part of society that is experienced by a small part of the population.
