It's official. First weeks sales results on Taylor Hicks' first single with over 190,000 hard copy sales and 38,000 digital sales putting him solidly at the top. Move over Shakira.

Soul-man owns the number one on the "Billboard Hot 100" chart, the "Billboard Pop 100" chart, and the "Billboard Single Sales" chart. (Them three thoroughbreds were nose and nose at the finish line.)

Angelina Jolie's baby shower pictures online




Some new pictures of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt hamming it up at a baby shower are reportedly being shopped to web sites and magazines and are posted online.

Celebrity Baby Blog has this report:
"We were emailed earlier this evening by a person claiming to have a memory stick containing 450 digital photos of the Jolie-Pitt family while they were still in Africa. This person is shopping the photos around to papers and magazines, but included a few picture files, including this shot, in their email. It is supposedly from Angelina and Brad's baby shower - very cute!"

Maybe it will spark more cease...

Britney Spears' damage control act:

Britney Spears much touted and twice repeated interview with Matt Lauer was thought to be an opportunity to provide the much-maligned former pop star with an image bump. According to a poll from Us Weekly - it didn't turn out so well.

Britney Spears is shocked by people's reactions to her interview as a poll conducted after the show revealed 87 percent of the audience had less respect for her.

According to pagesix.com, Spears is now attempting to do damage control and had photographers to take pretty pictures of her with professional hair, makeup and wardrobe. She has tried to sell the pictures and an "exclusive" interview for $200,000 but there were no takers.

Nicole Kidman Marries Keith Urban In Australia:

Church bells rang to mark Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman's own love story when she married country music singer Keith Urban in a traditional Catholic ceremony at a cliff-top chapel on Sunday.

Kidman smiled and waved as she arrived in a convoy of cream-colored Rolls Royce wedding cars just before 5:30 p.m.

Church bells pealed across the sprawling estate an hour later, signaling the romantic, candlelit ceremony was over.

"We just want to thank everyone in Australia and around the world who have sent us their warm wishes," Kidman and Urban said in a statement released with an official wedding picture.

Australian television reported that Kidman's friends, Oscar winner Russell Crowe and Broadway and film star Hugh Jackman, led the guest list for the black-tie wedding.

Baz Luhrmann, who directed Kidman in the Oscar-winning film musical "Moulin Rouge," was also among the 230 guests. "It's a very special love story," Luhrmann said of the wedding.

Father Paul Coleman, a Jesuit priest who performed the ceremony, has said that Kidman and Urban, 38, share a "mature love" which has impressed him.

Coleman said he had told them to "make time for each other, do romantic things together and never part without kissing."

Heather Mills McCartney's Raunchy Video to air on UK TV:

Heather Mills McCartney denys all claims of ever performing a sexy striptease--but now it will air on an X-rated British TV channel.

Paris Hilton dégoûtée de la fourrure
La mondaine a visionné une vidéo qui lui a fait horreur lors d'une soirée passée chez Heather Mills, séparée de Paul McCartney.

Paris Hilton a vu chez cette activiste antifourrure un film de la PETA, association américaine de défense des droits des animaux, montrant des chiens encore vivants se faisant dépouiller de leur peau pour obtenir leur fourrure.

Heather Mills a expliqué à la jeune femme que même la fausse fourrure contenait des poils de chiens et de chats, ce qui l'a dégoûtée d'en porter. Le porte-parole de Paris Hilton, Elliot Mintz, déclare : "Paris ne porte pas de fourrure et ne portera plus de fourrure artificielle, maintenant qu'elle sait tout cela. Elle est reconnaissante envers Heather de lui avoir ouvert les yeux sur ce terrible sujet."

(TQS.ca) L'actrice et chanteuse aurait été aperçue à quelques reprises dans les bras d'un nouvel homme.

Jessica Simpson dont le divorce avec Nick Lachey n'est pas encore officiellement conclu serait tombé sous le charme de l'acteur Jared Leto. Les deux amoureux auraient été photographiés à quelques reprises alors qu'ils sortaient d'un bar.

Selon l'attachée de presse de Jessica Simpson, elle serait toujours célibataire. Jared Leto n'aurait pas encore réussi à l'avoir. L'acteur serait sorti avec plusieurs vedettes féminines comme Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johanson et Lindsay Lohan.

On a pu voir Jared Leto récemment dans le film « Seigneur de guerre ».
