Demi Moore croit qu’elle paraît trop bien pour obtenir des rôles au cinéma.

L’actrice de 44 ans prétend que Hollywood ne sait plus quoi faire d’elle.

Selon la star, l’industrie cinématographique la considère trop vieille pour jouer un rôle principal et trop jeune et séduisante pour incarner une figure maternelle.

Moore a affirmé dans une entrevue au magazine Red : « Je n’ai pas 30 ans ni 20. Mais je suis très différente des autres actrices qui atteignent la quarantaine. Avoir 40 ans marque souvent la fin d’une carrière et le temps de prendre sa retraite. Pourtant, nous avons davantage à offrir. On ne peut s’asseoir et attendre simplement qu’un rôle nous soit offert. »

Le dernier rôle de Moore remonte à cette année où elle a incarné la détective Tracy Atwood dans le drame Mr. Brooks.
