The alternative theory about the missing Suri is that Tom and Katie were forced to face up to the ugly truth that putting Suri out there is NOT a good thing. She's not the little adult TomKat claim she is.

A source close to the family recounted that one evening, on the way out of a restaurant, fans surged and freaked Suri out. According to the insider, "She (Suri) started blinking her eyes because people started taking pictures, and she put up an arm to shield her face.
