The curtain will go up Sept. 18 for previews of Katie Holmes‘ Broadway debut, but not before a little controversy.

Katie‘ show, All My Sons needed a bigger theater for their run, so Mario Lopez’s A Chorus Line is getting booted from the theater they are currently showing in.

“Katie wouldn’t sign a long-term agreement with her show, which is why it’s the limited run that it is. They had to figure out how to make more money with the time they had with her,” said a source told MSNBC.

The solution: Move to a musical theater. “Musical theaters have more seats than a traditional playhouse, so they can sell more tickets each week,” the source said. “That’s how the show ended up at the Schoenfeld Theater (where “Chorus Line” runs). Because of the All My Sons rehearsal schedule, they had to cut Mario Lopez’s run in A Chorus Line.

“[Mario] might be People’s hottest bachelor, but he’s pissed,” said the source. “Let’s face it, he doesn’t have much going on right now.”

The production, which also stars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson, officially opens Oct. 16 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre for a limited run through Jan. 11.

Sortie d'un livre choc sur Britney Spears !



Pendant un an et demi, Ian Halperin, journaliste et spécialiste des biographies non autorisées, a suivi la princesse de la pop dans son quotidien.

Se faisant passer pour un paparazzi, il a pu approcher Britney Spears de près, et sympathiser avec ses managers et ses amis.

Au fur et à mesure de ses découvertes, il a tout concilié dans un livre qui devrait bientôt sortir. Il révèle dans son ouvrage que Britney a tenté par deux fois de mettre fin à ses jours, et que ses problèmes étaient dûs non seulement à la drogue mais aussi à un entourage malveillant.

Le journaliste explique : " J'en ai vu beaucoup. J'ai fait la fête avec elle et j'ai pu voir le genre de trucs qu'elle prend. C'est très inquiétant. Mais le livre traite principalement des gens qui s'occupent d'elle, et montre à quel point ils sont intéressés et destructeurs. Les gens qui l'entourent sont comme des vautours. "

Pour lui, Britney est une fille bien, qui prend soin de ses enfants mais dont tout le monde abuse. Bizarrement, on n'a pas de mal à le croire...

Pop singer Charlotte Church and rugby player Gavin Henson just announced that baby #2 is on the way.

Yes, already!!!

Via the webmaster for Charlotte’s official website: “Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson are delighted to announce that they are expecting another baby. The couple are thrilled, as are their immediate families.
Meanwhile, Charlotte has confirmed that she will fulfill her commitment to Channel 4 to present the third [season] of The Charlotte Church Show in July and August of this year.”

Charlotte, 22, and Gavin, 26, already have one daughter, Ruby Megan Henson, who turns nine months on Friday.
