A sad bit of news has been published today. Debated on whether or not to post it, but felt it was out there anyway, might be best to break the news to Brit's fans through her fan-site rather then the National Enquirer.
More than 30 years ago, Lynne was involved in a tragic car crash that claimed the life of a 12 year-old boy. Lynne was 20 years old when she ran over a child sprinting down Kentwood, Louisiana on his bike. He was killed instantly.
"To this day, Lynne hasn't gotten over what she did. She gets that terrified look in her eye when she is thinking about it," a Spear family spy revealed in this week's edition of the National Enquirer. How could anyone ever get over that?
Lynne was reportedly rushing her brother to a hospital when she hit the boy.
Lynne's rep adds, "Anthony Winters and his friend were in the road on a curve on a bicycle. As Lynne rounded the curve she could not avoid the boy in the street as there was oncoming traffic in the opposite lane."
Anthony, the rep continues, later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries, contradicting the earlier claim he was killed instantly.
Her rep continues, "Lynne realized the boy was struck immediately and to this day is grieved by the Winters' loss of their son."
"It bothers Lynne still to this day," a former employee of the Spears adds. "She really doesn't like to talk about it. She just wanted to forget that it ever happened - but she can't. She has told only a few people about the accident and always says, 'Please don’t think I'm a bad person.'"
Just like when Us Weekly published a story last year about Jamie's mom tragically committing suicide at a young age; this story breaks my heart. Am I doing the wrong thing by posting this?
I feel for Lynne. My mother, same age as Lynne, experienced a similar tragedy when she was in her twenties - and still to this day it haunts her. I think my mom should give Lynne a call. Odd, but I think they have a lot in common.
Although a bit late, our thoughts and prayers go out to you Lynne. I'm so sorry.

Seniorita a écritShe opted against selling off pictures of her baby daughter to the highest bidder. But at last, the very first photos of Halle Berry with Nahla Ariela Aubry have been released! The 41-year-old "Catwoman" actress was seen carrying her little girl around in Los Angeles on Thursday (July 17) - with her mother, Judith Ann, nearby to help out with her granddaughter.
