Heath Ledger’s family has decided to donate his entire estate to the late actor’s daughter, Matilda Rose, even though he signed a will leaving his fortune to his parents and sisters.

However, Ledger’s insurance company has refused to pay and has been sued in Los Angeles for not paying out $10 million in benefits to his 3-year-old daughter, after the company claimed the Dark Knight actor may have committed suicide, according to court papers.

“There was never any question about the fact that Heath’s estate would go to Matilda,” Ledger’s dad, Kim said. “Never a question. We are very close to Michelle and Matilda.”

Former O.C. star Benjamin McKenzie shares a laugh with a costar while filming a new television pilot, LAPD, on Monday along Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, Calif.

In the ensemble cop drama, which follows a group of officers in Los Angeles, Ben, 30, plays a reserved rookie cop.

LAPD is expected to air midseason on NBC and will most likely replace ER (series finale airs February 2009).

Here is your first glimpse of DJ AM since the fatal plane crash.

The 35-year-old, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, stepped out to attend a memorial service for Travis Barker’s assistant, Chris Baker. Mourners were asked to wear green to the service, which was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood.

DJ AM was released from Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia on Saturday, a week after the crash that took the lives of four people. He and former Blink-182 drummer Barker were the only survivors.

“While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide,” his rep, Jenni Weinman, has said. “We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends.”

Britney Spears made a surprise visit at radio station Z100 in New York City on Monday afternoon. She talked exclusively with DJ JJ about her new album, Circus, how she is definitely going to tour next year and how happy she is to be back in the Big Apple.
