The secret’s out! 90210 hottie Ryan Eggold has a new girlfriend—actress Ashley Greene, a star in the upcoming vampire movie Twilight.

A friend of the couple confirms: “It’s pretty new, but they’re totally together.” And Eggold himself alluded to a new girlfriend at the John Varvatos Malibu Boutique opening on October 4, telling Life & Style: “I’m sort of dating someone — she’s an actress.”

Inside the party, Eggold, 24 and Greene, 21, didn’t keep their new relationship a secret at all. According to one onlooker’s report, they were holding hands and canoodling all night!

Heidi Montag’s Apology to Lauren Conrad

On Monday’s episode of The Hills, Heidi Montag penned an apology note to former BFF Lauren Conrad. Lauren’s coworker and pal Whitney Port, who’s getting her own spin-off series, read the note aloud:

“I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am about everything. I’m so sorry for every negative or hurtful comment I’ve ever said. That is not how I feel or who I am. I think you are a great person and I will always cherish our memories. Thank you for everything you have ever done for me. I really wish things hadn’t turned out this way but I take responsibility. This whole thing has also been really hard for me.

Sincerely, Heidi Montag”

Lauren basically says she can never be friends with Heidi as long as Heidi’s boyfriend Spencer Pratt is around. Later in the episode, Spencer gets angry after he finds out that Heidi apologized to Lauren without his knowing.

Jason Priestley To Direct 90210

Jason Priestley will be sitting in the director’s chair for the upcoming 18th episode of the hit CW drama 90210, reports EW.

Priestley’s on-screen sister, Shannen Doherty, is expected to return for two more episodes later this season, one of which Priestley might direct. Says executive producer Gabe Sachs, “I think it would be a kick for Jason to work with any of his [former 90210 costars], and it would also add something special to that episode,” he says. “But we don’t know whether that will happen yet.”

Priestley’s episode is slated to air this spring.

Well, this certainly explains a lot.  Courtney Love's drastic weight loss wasn't just due to diet and exercise.  She actually had surgery to have a gastric band placed.  These rumors were all over the place last year, but she denied them.  Now friends have ratted her out...

Travis Barker’s First Post-Crash Interview

Ex-Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM were the only survivors of the September 19 plane crash that killed four. Barker, 32, opened up to Us Weekly for the first time since the crash.

On his fear of flying: “I hate planes. My biggest fear ever is to be involved in a plane crash, so when that happened … well, I’m just thankful to be alive! I’m just grateful to be here at all.”

On how he’s doing” “I am doing the best I can possibly be. I’m so anxious to get out of here. …I’ve just been in surgery after surgery. I have third degree burns basically from my feet up to my waist and both hands. One of my hands was second degree burns and one was third degree burns. I’m trying to have a quick recovery and play the drums again and be able to hold my kids again. [Barker has two children, Landon, 5, and Alabama, 2, with Moakler.] I’m going nuts not being able to see them and spend time with them!”

On eating meat again after over 25 years as a vegetarian “I need protein from food rather than just protein supplements. I changed my diet. I would do anything I possibly could if they said like, ‘There’s a possibility you might heal faster if you do eat meat or just change your eating habits.’ So I did. I don’t regret it at all, I feel so much better.”

On how much longer he’ll be in the hospital? “Oh gosh, I hope not much longer. I sit here and I read books and watch TV. I think if this surgery went well, I’ll be here for at most two weeks.”

Far away from the drama on and off The Hills, Whitney Port got to shooting her new reality show The City in NYC yesterday. It looks like Whitney got some good news over the phone. . . and that the new show is going to have the same level of setup scenes that we're used to on the show we know and love. Whitney's is the Hills spinoff you're most excited to see and it looks like this brunette friend may become a familiar face. We've already gotten a taste of the tearful goodbye with Lauren, but it should be interesting to see how Whitney is when it's all about her.
