Ashlee Simpson has been trying "different foot massages" to induce labour.

The 24-year-old pop star - who is expecting her first child with husband Pete Wentz - is so desperate to give birth she has been testing out a variety of treatments which are said to bring on the labour process.

Ashlee's sister Jessica told US TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres yesterday (17.11.08): "She has been trying different foot massages and stuff. I don't know. I think she's really just jumping around trying everything right now."

Jessica - who denied internet reports suggesting 'Little Miss Obsessive' singer Ashlee had gone into labour over the weekend - also revealed Ashlee and Fall Out Boy rocker Pete are thinking about medically inducing labour if it doesn't naturally happen soon.

She added during the show, which airs tomorrow (19.11.08): "They're going to have to. It's already developing really quickly."

Pete revealed two weeks ago that Ashlee was due "at any moment", and sparked rumours his wife was giving birth after cancelling an appearance on hit US TV show 'Larry King Live' due to "breaking news and scheduling conflicts".

According to Us Weekly, Tyra Banks will be paying for the $20,000 to $35,000 sex reassignment surgery for Isis King, the first transgender contestant on America’s Next Top Model.

Here’s what 22-year-old Isis, who was born Darrell Walls, says on The Tyra Banks Show: “ like I’m about to wake up. It’s hard. I try not to think about it because it is something I’m really passionate about. I feel like I really was born in the wrong body, and it’s just the one thing that makes me feel uncomfortable.”

During a Monday taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, singer Jessica Simpson revealed that her sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is more than ready to welcome her first child. With Ashlee's husband, rocker Pete Wentz, recently sharing that his very uncomfortable wife "just wants [the pregnancy] to be over," Jessica says that the 24-year-old has resorted to trying every trick in the book -- including "different foot massages" -- in order to jump start the labor!

   "I don't know. I think she's really just jumping around trying everything right now."

Despite Ashlee's fierce determination to get the delivery rolling, Jessica -- who is equally excited to welcome the new addition -- admits that doctors "are going to have to" induce labor as the couple's baby is "developing really quick." For Ashlee, the possibility of inducing is welcome news, according to the country singer, who says the mom-to-be is quite eager to finally give birth.

As for the sex of the baby, Jessica confirmed that her sister and brother-in-law know, but she's not at liberty to say!

   "I can't say because they haven't said. I'll stick my foot in my mouth and get in trouble and I won't be a good aunt."
