MADONNA GRANTED PERMISSION TO ADOPT MERCY JAMES



Malawi’s Supreme Court overturned a lower court and allowed Madonna to adopt a second child from the country today (June 12).

Chief Justice Lovemore Munlo said the 50-year-old pop star had shown an interest in helping Malawi orphans and that 4-year-old would have a better life with the pop super star.

He said a lower court had erred in turning down the adoption request because Madonna was not resident in Malawi.

Hugh Grant était tranquillement en train de rentrer chez lui après une soirée dans un club new-yorkais quand un chasseur d'images s'est montré un peu trop collant...

Ne prenant pas garde aux avertissements de la star, le photographe s'est même permis de lui glisser une petite pique : "Alors Hugh, elles sont où les filles ce soir ?"

Voulant sans doute lui prouver qu'il en avait dans le slip, l'acteur de 49 ans se dirige vers le parasite et lui assène un grand coup de pied dans les pendules !

It’s a girl! Guiding Light actress Jessica Leccia and her husband Brian Malloy are first-time parents after welcoming a daughter, on Wednesday, June 10th, a rep for CBS confirms to CBB. Baby girl Ivy Lola Malloy entered the world at 9:10 a.m., weighing in at 8 lbs., 6 oz. Jessica’s due date had been June 16th.

The soap opera star had announced her pregnancy in December. In February, the expectant mama admitted she had returned to an old habit: ice cream! “I hadn’t eaten it in awhile, but I’m back on it, like a drug,” she said. “It’s bad, but it’s so good.”

Jessica, 33, has portrayed the character of Natalia Rivera since joining Guiding Light in 2007. She and Brian, 37, were married last May in Puerto Rico.

Rihanna and Chris Brown attended game four of the NBA Finals in Orlando last night, though contrary to initial rumors they were not sitting together. Both Chris and Rihanna have attended games in the series, but not ever in the same place at the same time. Rih made the trek from NYC yesterday after spending a few days socializing with friends and her rumored new flame. Whatever is going on in their downtime apart, in under two weeks, Chris and Rihanna will be in LA when she testifies at his June 22 hearing.
