Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Daniel Baldwin was arrested Tuesday in Santa Monica, Calif., after allegedly stealing a car.
We’re told the owner of the car called OnStar, reporting the car stolen, and a rep from OnStar in turn called the Santa Monica P.D. to report the theft. Cops found the car at a local motel and saw Baldwin getting inside the vehicle.
We’re told a disheveled Baldwin was taken into custody for grand theft auto. Officers conducted a search of the motel room where Baldwin was staying and allegedly found narcotics and paraphernalia. Baldwin was also booked on charges of possessing illegal drugs.
Baldwin, the brother of “30 Rock” star Alec Baldwin, was booked at the Santa Monica jail and held on $20,000 bail.
Cops tell TMZ that the car in question, a 2003 GMC Yukon, was stolen in Orange County. The Santa Monica P.D. transferred Baldwin to the Orange County Sheriffs Department, where he was booked on grand theft auto charges.
This is the second time Baldwin has been busted in Santa Monica for drugs. Last April, Baldwin was arrested at another Santa Monica hotel after a woman called the cops claiming she had been threatened there. Cops claim when they arrived, they found cocaine on Baldwin. That case is pending.

Shar Jackson Reacts to Britney and K-Fed’s Divorce

Actress Shar Jackson, 30, is finally speaking out about Britney Spears filing for divorce from Jackson’s ex, Kevin Federline. The ex girlfriend and mother of two of Federline’s children (Kori, 4, and Kaleb, 2, ) tells Us Weekly that the couple should come together for the sake of their kids.
“I hope that they are mature enough to realize that their differences come second to the needs of their children and that it is no longer about them as individuals, but about maintaining a healthy friendship/relationship for the sake of their children,” she says.
Jackson recently told Inside Edition that she saw no obvious discord between the couple the last time she saw them on Halloween at Federline’s album release party.
“They seemed happy to me,” she said. “[Britney] gave me a hug…and told me I looked cute.” Jackson added that she’s not bitter towards Federline, 28, for leaving her for Spears, and in fact, actually feels sympathy for him.
“He’s such a nice guy. He’s made some mistakes but everybody else doesn’t have the whole world pointing their finger at their mistakes.”
Spears, 24, and Federline are both suing for custody of their two sons, Sean Preston, 14 months, and Jayden James, 2 months.
“I don’t know what their situation is or why he wants to get custody of his children other than the fact that he loves them,” Jackson told Inside Edition. “Maybe, it goes deeper than that. Maybe it’s because of all the press about her mothering.”
When IE asked why the public seems to be delighting in the couple’s split, Jackson responded, “I think part of it is because whether you know him or not, he has become almost a national joke.”

Jessica Simpson has been trolling various Internet dating sites desperately trying to find a boyfriend. Well, she thought she found the right guy and arranged a date with him only to find out he's a male prostitute.
A friend of Jessica's told Australia's New Weekly magazine, "Jessica logged onto the Internet to find male company. She found a picture of a guy in Los Angeles she thought was ideal. They arranged to meet, but when she turned up, she found out the sad truth - he was only interested in a 'professional transaction.' The guy turned out to be a male escort." The source added, "Jessica was horrified and told him to go to hell. She wasn't that desperate." The friend said, "She never imagined male hookers would be trying to cash in on the service. It's turned her off the web - and that was her main hobby."
