Emotional 911 Call For Brittany Murphy Released


LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

The 911 call made by Brittany Murphy’s mother, Sharon Murphy, on December 20 has been released and obtained by Access Hollywood.

“My daughter is passed out…please get here quickly…please hurry!” Sharon is heard saying to the 911 operator.

During the frantic call, the operator then asks if Brittany is breathing, to which she screams, “No, no!”

The operator instructs the actress’ mother to begin CPR. Sharon explains that her daughter vomited, saying, “She just threw up tons of stuff, tons and tons of water.”

Sharon and the actress’ husband, Simon Monjack, can be heard attempting to check if the 32-year-old actress is breathing. Monjack is then heard performing CPR while Sharon stays on the phone with the 911 operator.

When asked if anyone saw what happened to the actress, her mother said, “[She] couldn’t walk right. She’s had a cold.”

The operator then asks if Brittany is taking any medications, to which Sharon said, “No, no…no.”

Sharon then informs the operator that emergency medical professionals have arrived to the actress’ LA area home and the call ends.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, an autopsy on Murphy was completed on December 23. However, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office released a statement saying the cause of death would be “deferred pending the receipt of additional toxicological tests and tissue studies that have been ordered by the deputy medical examiner.”

Those results were expected to take at least four to six weeks.

'America's Next Top Model' returns in March



"America's Next Top Model" crowned a petite winner in the fall, but it's back to the tall girls starting in March.

The CW announced Friday (Jan. 8) that it will kick off the 14th edition of "Top Model" with a two-hour premiere on Wednesday, March 3. Until then, though, the network's Wednesday schedule will be an all-rerun zone. Tuesday nights will remain that way for a while as well -- "90210" and "Melrose Place" aren't scheduled to return until March 9.

The rest of the network's lineup, however, will kick back into gear later this month. New episodes of "One Tree Hill" and the well-received new series "Life Unexpected" begin Monday, Jan. 18. "The Vampire Diaries" and "Supernatural" come back Thursday, Jan. 21, and "Smallville" has its first episode of 2010 on Friday, Jan. 22.

"Gossip Girl" will also be back on Mondays in March, pairing with "Life Unexpected" through April 12. "OTH" will rejoin "Gossip Girl" on April 19.

The CW hasn't decided yet what to pair with "Top Model" on Wednesdays. It has two unscripted shows in development -- "Fly Girls," about flight attendants for Virgin Atlantic, and an untitled show featuring socialite Tinsley Mortimer.

Sharon Stone: I Didn't Insult Meryl Streep

Sharon Stone is fighting back against a magazine quote in which the actress seemed to bash Meryl Streep, as Stone tells PopEater exclusively that the publication took her quote completely out of context. "It is not ok with me for someone to take a statement I made with good-natured intent and to try and make it in to something politically incorrect," Stone tells PopEater. More exclusive quotes from Stone and the quote she's angry about after the jump!




The quote in UK's Tattler Magazine (via Huffington Post), had Stone saying: "I think that's why Meryl Streep is working so much, because she looks like a woman we can all relate to ... Meryl looks like an unmade bed, and that's what I look like. To me, that looks true."

Stone refutes how that quote is being portrayed, telling PopEater: "My love and support for what she [Streep] represents for women right now is extraordinarily important."

Her publicist agrees, adding that "the full context of what Sharon said about Meryl Streep in her interview with Tattler Magazine was meant as a compliment. Sharon greatly admires Meryl as a person, an actress, and as a friend."

The 'Basic Instinct' and 'Casino' actress also allegedly says in the Tattler interview: "I look at her and I think, 'I'm chasing my kids, I've moved my parents in with me, I'm coping with food spills - that looks like me in real life.'"

Also in the Tattler interview, Stone denies having any plastic surgery done, but then is quoted saying she did have work done once. "I have had zero, nothing done to myself: no lifting, no Botox, no injectables," she said. "I did try something once and I saw myself in a movie and didn't like the way I looked. I thought I looked like I had a giant balloon head, and I felt it wasn't for me.
