Despite reports and plenty of wishing on the part of the fans, Carrie Bradshaw’s second “Big”-gest love, Aiden Shaw, won’t be making an appearance in “Sex and The City 2.”

On Saturday afternoon, following his Television Critics Association panel to promote Season 2 of his Showtime series with Toni Collette, “The United States of Tara,” John said he won’t be in the movie.

In December, Sarah Jessica Parker told MTV News she could not “confirm nor deny” that John was coming back for a cameo as Aiden, after he was reportedly spotted in Morocco at the same time “Sex and The City 2” was being filmed there.

But on Saturday, John told AccessHollywood.com he wasn’t even in the North African country as past reports suggested.

“I wasn’t in Morocco,” John told Access.

In fact, John said the shots of the star people have referred to are actually from some time ago.

“I was in Istanbul about six years ago and somebody put a picture up and said I was Morocco,” he said.

When asked about Sarah Jessica’s recent non-denial and non-confirmation, John smiled and said his former co-star was doing the right thing for her film.

“Well, if I were a producer, I would do the same thing,” he laughed.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, “Sex and The City 2” will hit theaters this summer.

Looks like Gwyneth Paltrow might be coming to a decision soon about her marriage to rocker Chris Martin.

Despite reports of Chris being spotted kissing other women, the two have yet to call it quits but many speculate their marriage is strained.

And one supporter of Gwyneth leaving his ass is none other than Madonna.

According to reports, Madge believes with the right guidance, Paltrow can have “the perfect divorce, with no squabbling and sharing the children equally.”

A source adds, “Whenever Gwyneth complains about problems with Chris, Madonna’s solution is she should leave him….Madonna has never liked Chris because he refuses to kiss her butt. The few times they’ve hung out together, their egos clashed big time.”

Boozy Dennis Rodman Booted from Restaurant
On the same day as the premiere of the new season of "Celebrity Rehab," Dennis Rodman was drinking vodka in an O.C. restaurant ... and eventually had to be escorted out by police.

It all went down Thursday -- law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Rodman was drinking at a restaurant called Waterfalls inside the Atrium Hotel. We're told cops were called after several patrons complained about Rodman's behavior.

Sources at the restaurant tell TMZ Rodman had at least one vodka drink before cops were called.

When police arrived, Rodman was cooperative with the officers and eventually agreed to leave without further incident.

The new season of "Celebrity Rehab" -- of which Rodman is a part -- premiered Thursday night. Talk about a spoiler...

'Vampire Diaries': More of the dead and dying to come ... and come back

At The CW's portion of TV Press Tour on Saturday (Jan. 9) the network presented two shows: the highly anticipated (already critically adored) "Life Unexpected" and its one hit of the Fall, "The Vampire Diaries."

A Mad Hatter, a Fashionista, and an Iron Man

The quality of films in 2009 may have been hampered a bit by the writer's work stoppage two years ago, but 2010 is looking like an impressive rebound for the creative side of Hollywood. The most prominent evidence of the increase in quality are the films that didn't make the top 20 most anticipated list. How about "Clash of the Titans," "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," "Area 51," "MacGruber," "The Last Airbender," "The American," "Shrek Forever After," "The Green Hornet" and "The Runaways"? Just to name a few mind you (and we haven't even hit Sundance yet).

More intriguing are the number of actors who are doing double duty on this round up. Robert Downey, Jr., Russell Brand, Helen Mirren, Anna Kendrick, Natalie Portman and Andrew Garfield (you probably don't know him now, but you soon will), all have two major pictures hitting the multiplex from the 20. And here everyone thought Samuel L. Jackson was the hardest working man in show business. Well, not this go around.
