What Ended Jake Gyllenhaal's Vacation?


Hottie Jake Gyllenhaal was staying at a hotel with his family including his sis Maggie while holidaying when the hotel caught fire. The blaze apparently started when a car crashed in a tree at the back of the building. Fortunately no one was hurt but unfortunately the hotel was completely destroyed.

"Jake was helping me pull things out of the fire," Daniel DeLong, a chef and co-owner of the historic lodge said. Manka's Inverness Lodge was an A-List haven as stars and even royalty would go to unwind and relax.

Britney Spears to Adopt!



Not one to let a trend pass her by, pop princess Britney Spears is reportedly jumping on the "Celebrity Adoption Bandwagon". The newly single mother of two is setting her eyes on a four year old tsunami orphan. The boy whose name is Wang is from Bali and lost his entire family in the 2004 Indian Ocean tragedy.

After reading about his plight, sources say Britney instantly wanted to help him and sponsor him until she can find out more. The pop superstar has even written to officials seeking advice. A source revealed, "The tsunami disaster was a tragedy very close to Britney's heart and she has dedicated a lot of her time to its charities." We hear Britney is so serious that she has even contacted Madonna for some advice.

The 25-year-old star's decision to adopt an underprivileged child is part of her plan to make a fresh start in the new year, following her bitter split from Kevin and her wild pantyless nights out. "Britney's had a turbulent year and wants 2007 to be brilliant. As well as wanting to look after little Wang, she is determined to make a music comeback with a difference."

This comes hours after one of her biggest fansites decided to close down due Britney losing her “identity and credibility with fans and industry people.” She can’t even take care of her own 2 children; I don’t see how anyone in their right mind would grant this adoption.

Julia Roberts est à nouveau enceinte

Deux ans après la naissance de ses jumeaux, l'actrice américaine Julia Roberts est enceinte de son troisième enfant, rapporte vendredi le magazine People.

La naissance est prévue pour l'été prochain, a expliqué l'agent de l'actrice, Marcy Engelman, au magazine. L'heureux événement était également annoncé dans le New York Post. L'agent n'a pu être jointe dans l'immédiat par l'Associated Press.

Julia Roberts, 39 ans, et son mari, le cinéaste Danny Moder, 37 ans, ont déjà deux jumeaux, Hazel et Phinnaeus, nés en novembre 2004. Le couple s'est marié en juillet 2002 au Nouveau-Mexique.

Elle avait remporté l'Oscar de la meilleure actrice en 2001 pour son rôle dans "Erin Brockovich". L'héroïne de "Pretty Woman" sera à l'affiche l'an prochain de "Charlie Wilson's War", réalisé par Mike Nichols.
