She’s arguably the hottest actress on network television, and Sofia Vergara says she’d rather have her natural beauty than a bunch of plastic surgery.

In fact, the “Modern Family” babe recently threw a few jabs at Madonna and other Tinseltown babes who rely on artificial means to try to look young.

Ms. Vergara explained, "L.A. is crazy. The women all look the same now. That thing with the cheeks. Like Madonna. Who do they think they're fooling? It doesn't make them look young. You end up looking like a freak."

And though she has considered getting a breast reduction, Sofia says her mom warned her, “God is going to punish you if you cut them.”

Mel Gibson's Dad: Pope Benedict XVI is Gay



His son has certainly made headlines as of late and now Mel Gibson’s father, Hutton Gibson, is causing controversy too.

According to TMZ, on a recent Stateside radio talk show Mr Gibson called in to express his opinions on whether the Catholic Church addresses issues such as homosexuality - during which time he ended up calling Pope Benedict XVI “gay.”

To the question about the church, the 91-year-old responded, “It's [The Catholic Church] not willing to do so because half of the people there in the Vatican are queer.”

When asked if he thinks Pope Benedict XVI is gay, Hutton replied, “I certainly do... why else would he put up with this?... He's a slippery character.”
