Demi Moore Is Being Treated For Anorexia, So Says Radar



Demi Moore is getting it together in rehab right now after she allegedly downed so much of her drug of choice that it messed her up in a Call 911 kind of way. TMZ said last night that Demi was taken to the hospital because of a "substance abuse" issue, but Radar is saying this morning that it was more like a "not eating " issue. They heard from a source that Demi had an epileptic seizure in her house on Monday night and that's why the paramedics (or as my little cousin calls them, "the police doctors") were called. Radar also confirms that Judd Nelson and Ally Sheedy were the ones who called 911 right after Andrew McCarthy climbed up Demi's fire escape and torched through the bars on her window. Radar's source put Demi's meltdown like this:

"She collapsed after having an epileptic seizure. Demi is in getting treated for anorexia, as well as other issues that caused her seizure. She has not taken care of her health at all lately and has lost a ton of weight."

The friend said she became upset when Demi had a reaction to a whip-it and lapsed into semi-consciousness.

TMZ also notes: a whip-it is not a common drug among people of Demi’s age and social status. It’s typically used by younger people who are looking for a cheap thrill.

Heather Locklear n'est pas en cure de désintoxication

L'actrice Heather Locklear qui a été hospitalisée plus tôt ce mois-ci, après avoir ingurgité un cocktail de vin et de médicaments sous prescriptions, est toujours sous surveillance médicale, mais n'est pas en cure de désintoxication, selon ce que rapporte une source près de la star, au magazine People.

La beauté de «Place Melrose» qui a longtemps souffert d'anxiété et de dépression a demandé à être suivie par un médecin, sans toutefois être hospitalisée.

Sa famille et ses amis gardent espoir pour elle, mais ils savent que seule l'actrice peut parvenir à s'en sortir, si elle le veut. «Elle est la seule à pouvoir le faire.»

Malgré ce qui a pu se dire sur d'éventuels traitements, cette même source affirme que Heather Locklear ne suit pas de traitements, qu'elle a choisi de se rétablir sans les programmes proposés aux patients.

En novembre dernier, l'actrice a vécu une rupture avec son amoureux Jack Wagner ( le Dr. Peter Burns de «Place Melrose»). Ce qui est peut-être à l'origine de tout ce désespoir.

Demi Moore: l'inhalation de protoxyde d'azote pourrait être la cause de son hospitalisation

L'actrice Demi Moore aurait inhalé du protoxyde d'azote (aussi appelé oxyde nitreux) avant d'éprouver des symptômes similaires à une crise d'épilepsie révèle le site TMZ.

L'inhalateur d'oxyde nitreux est connu dans le milieu de la rue sous le nom de «Whip-It». C'est un gaz hilarant, bon marché, que les jeunes utilisent pour se droguer.

Demi Moore a été hospitalisée lundi soir après qu'un appel ait été logé au 911. Elle a été évaluée par les ambulanciers pendant une trentaine de minutes avant d'être conduite à l'hôpital.

Un porte-parole de Moore a évoqué plutôt l'épuisement de sa cliente dans un communiqué: «En raison du stress dans sa vie présentement, Demi a choisi d'aller chercher de l'aide professionnelle pour traiter son épuisement et améliorer sa santé globale».

Demi Moore, 49 ans, est séparée de son mari Ashton Kutcher depuis novembre dernier. Elle a demandé le divorce après 6 ans de vie commune avec la vedette de «That 70s Show» et «Two and a Half Men».

Son état la force également à abandonner le tournage de «Lovelace», un drame indépendant qui se penchera sur l'histoire de Linda Boreman (alias Linda Lovelace), une des premières stars du cinéma pornographique. Elle devait incarner la féministe et activiste américaine Gloria Steinem dans le long-métrage.
