After several months of fake dating, singer Delta Goodrem, 27, and singer Nick Jonas, 19, have split.

From People Magazine:

Nick Jonas’s romance with Australian pop star Delta Goodrem is officially over.

“Nick and Delta have decided to mutually end their relationship,” Goodrem’s rep confirms to PEOPLE in a statement. “At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths.”

The statement continues: “They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future.” Jonas’s rep declined to comment.

News of their split comes about a week after Jonas told PEOPLE he was savoring life in New York City, where he’s currently starring on Broadway’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in a role previously played by Daniel Radcliffe and Glee’s Darren Criss.

“I’m enjoying love, life and friends,” the 19-year-old said in a Feb. 10 interview.

Jonas first stepped out with Goodrem, 27, holding hands on a movie date last May.

So, what does this all mean? Well, since Delta Goodrem is heading back to Australia to be a judge on Australia’s version of The Voice, there’s no way that she and Joel can continue to carry on a relationship, right? Wrong! Guess who is also going to be a judge on that show? Yes… Joel Madden!

Of course they will deny being in a relationship… but we would too if we knew that Nicole Richie was involved. Remember when Nicole pitched a fit and threw a bottle of bleach all over that pool table in The Simple Life? Well, if Delta doesn’t back the eff off, she’s going to be the pool table in this little scenario. Nicole has taken on Paris Hilton, Rachel Zoe, and Jessica Simpson. Don’t think she won’t go after Delta Goodrem, who we have now named….The Aussie Hussy!

This situation also probably solves the similar item that was published by another blog a month later, but we’ll let that blog author confirm it. That item is Foreigner Tweener Singer And Reality Star.

Misguided Fun Takes A Bad Turn

[CDAN] What started out as misguided fun has turned into a really precarious situation for this one celebrity couple. She is a sometime model and sometime reality star. He is pretty much an A list movie actor. They have been together for awhile. When they first got together the woman was recovering from a long time c*ke habit which she used to stay thin while modeling. She also used her*in but never told our actor. He has always been open to pot and mushrooms but shied away from harder dr*gs because he relied on his body to get him roles other actors could not get. Body first, acting talent second. Although he has done dram and comedy and action, he is pretty much a one note actor. After a momentous occasion in their life, the couple took some time off to vacation together. They ran into an old friend of the woman and one thing led to another and all three did some c*ke together. Since that point about six months ago, our actor and his significant other have been doing c*ke everyday. He has stopped working out and is focused more on c*ke everyday than any other part of his life. The couple have passed off their child/ren to nannies which they never did before and party every night, all night. Supposedly the woman has also even got back into her*in. Still has not told our actor though.

Say what you will about “time served” and “forgiveness” and “redemption”, we’re not buying that these two have changed. These two mistake intensity for love, and that’s a scary mistake to make. Chris Brown is still an immature hot-head, Rihanna is still an idiot, and we can not foresee any kind of a happy ending for this couple.
