Russell Brand has been arrested on Thursday (March 15) in New Orleans, La.
The 36-year-old comedian allegedly took the iPhone of a photographer and threw it through a law office’s window, according to TMZ.
“Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently. What I did was a tribute to his memory,” Russell posted about the incident on his Twitter account.
Russell turned himself into the police earlier in the day, and also offered to pay for the property damage.
