Lindsay Lohan has been cited for investigation of driving under the influence after leaving a late-night party in Los Angles in the wee hours of Saturday morning, police say.

The 20-year-old actress was slightly injured when her convertible struck a curb. She was briefly hospitalized.

Lohan and two other people were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 when it crashed on Sunset Boulevard around 5:30 a.m., Sgt. Mike Foxen told the Associated Press.

“She was cited and released because she has been admitted to a local hospital for minor injuries,” Foxen said.

The other passengers in her car were not injured, said police. Lohan’s car was towed from the scene at 6:30 a.m.

The actress, who stars in the upcoming movie I Know Who Killed me, was spotted out at the Hollywood club Les Deux before the accident. She arrived around 11:30 with a group of friends, and was seen dancing and smoking.

Also at the club were singer James Blunt and Paris Hilton, who was recently ordered to 45 days in jail for violating her probation. Hilton was charged with a DUI in September 2006.

Lohan’s publicist Leslie Sloane did not immediately return calls for comment
