'CSI' holds Thursday title over 'Dancing'

(Jan. 6) -- It's not over 'til it's over. The final numbers are in, and 'CSI' has scored the last-round knockout punch by winning the Thursday ratings race last night. In what started out as a close competition based on initial Nielsen numbers, the blockbuster crime-solver drama ultimately beat out the second-season premiere of ABC's 'Dancing With the Stars' by a significant margin.

Meanwhile, CBS is expected to announce the next cast of 'Survivor,' and the cast of the first celebrity edition of 'Big Brother,' at some time next week.
