At the tender age of 15, Steffi DiDomenicantonio is already a seasoned stage veteran. Steffi has performed in both French and English and can sing in four different languages. She has performed on stage with the NAC English Theatre, the Ottawa Little Theatre, Opera Lyra Ottawa’s Young Artists program at the Fringe Festival and in Alan Neals’ play “Angel Vicarious”.At this year’s Kiwanis Music Festival, she took home first place honours in the categories of Solo Performance Musical Theatre and Duet Musical Theatre and was chosen as one of 14 artists to perform at the Festival Highlight Concert. In previous competitions she has also won the Sandrine Craig Memorial Trophy and the MacDonald Club Scholarship for Speech Arts. Among her many accomplishments away from the stage, Steffi managed to achieve a 91% average while enrolled at l’école secondaire De La Salle; she passed her Trinity examination in Speech and Drama Grade 6 with distinction; and she began working on a puppet show for children with her duet partner for which they have created a demo tape. For her dedication and commitment to her craft while achieving a high academic standard, Steffi DiDomenicantonio has been selected as a recipient of this year’s Outstanding Youth Award.
