George Michael et Andrew Ridgeley se réunissent pour le retour de Wham!.

Le duo populaire des années 80, qui a créé des hits comme Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go et Careless Whisper, devrait être en studio dès l’été 2007 aux États-Unis pour le début de l’enregistrement de son nouvel album. Une tournée pourrait également être prévue d’ici la fin de l’année.

En 2006, George avait fait part de son désir de reformer le duo. En décembre, il avait demandé à Andrew de monter sur scène avec lui pendant un de ses spectacles solo à l’aréna de Wembley à Londres.

Cependant, Andrew n’a pas réussi à aller jusqu’au bout à cause du trac.

Une source avait commenté l’affaire: «Andrew avait un trac incontrôlable à l’idée de monter sur scène après toutes ces années. Il a donc fait marche arrière.»

Le groupe Wham! s’est séparé en 1986. Son dernier concert The Finale avait eu lieu en juin de cette année-là au Wembley Stadium à Londres, stade aujourd’hui démolit.

George a eu un succès monstre tout au long de sa carrière solo. Son premier album Faith s’est vendu à près de 20 millions de copies aux quatre coins du monde.

Andrew a pris une courte pause du pop après la séparation du groupe. Il a continué à écrire des chansons pour d’autres artistes en utilisant un pseudonyme.

Daniel Baldwin -- Wanted Man
TMZ has learned that a warrant will be issued for the arrest of Daniel Baldwin, after the actor failed to show up in Orange County Superior Court earlier today on charges he stole a car.

As TMZ first reported, a disheveled Baldwin was taken into custody last November for grand theft auto in Santa Monica, California. According to cops, Baldwin stole a 2003 GMC Yukon in Orange County and drove it to a Santa Monica motel. Officers conducted a search of Baldwin's motel room and allegedly found narcotics and paraphernalia. Baldwin was also booked on charges of possessing illegal drugs and released on $20,000 bail.

The Orange County District Attorney filed charges of unlawful taking of a vehicle and receiving stolen property. Baldwin was supposed to appear for his arraignment but was a no-show. So the judge turned up the heat and Baldwin is now a wanted man.

This is the second time Baldwin has been busted in Santa Monica for drugs. Last April, Baldwin was arrested at another Santa Monica hotel after a woman called the cops claiming she had been threatened there. Cops claim when they arrived, they found cocaine on Baldwin.
