Alec Baldwin can’t seem to find the right woman – and soon he may turn to the Internet for help.
In a tongue-in-cheek interview in the February issue of Glamour, Baldwin says he’s thought about dipping into the online-dating scene, and jokingly imagines the kind of responses he might get.
“I could post my picture and say, ‘People tell me I look like Alec Baldwin.’ They’ll go, ‘Oh, I hate him’ or ‘Who the hell is he?’ ”
Since his split from his wife of eight years, Kim Basinger, in 2002, Baldwin, 48, has been linked to various women, including actress Kristin Davis and lawyer Nicole Seidel.
But he says the single life isn’t easy. “You meet people who are great, but they’re not who you want to turn the lights out with,” he says.
In fact, the 30 Rock costar says he wants to feel the kind of love he once had for Basinger, with whom he’s now in an ugly custody battle over their 11-year-old daughter, Ireland.
“I would love to marry (again). I want to be in love again,” Baldwin says. “I was in love when I was married, I’m not ashamed to say. I used to wake up in the morning and just look at (Kim) and say, ‘What do you want for breakfast, baby? Special K with blueberries? Let me go get some.’ ”
If he does find the right woman, does he want to have more children?
“Yes,” he replies. “The only time I’m truly happy is with my daughter. I can’t think that this is my only shot at fatherhood.”

Oprah Winfrey was shattered when a relative revealed in 1990 that she'd had a baby at 14, she says in the new issue of her magazine.
The February issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, has the theme, "My first" – and Winfrey writes about her first betrayal: A family member's revelation to the National Enquirer that Winfrey gave birth as a teen to a baby who died in the hospital weeks later.
Winfrey writes that the relative, whom she doesn't name but whom the Associated Press identifies as her half-sister, Patricia Lloyd, "sat in a room, told them the story of my hidden shame and left their offices $19,000 richer."
When she found out, Winfrey writes, according to the New York Post, "I took to my bed and cried for three days. I felt devastated. Wounded. Betrayed. How could this person do this to me?"
Before the article came out, she says, "Only my family and closest friends knew. I would tell no one until I felt safe enough to share my dark past: the years I was sexually abused, from age 10 to 14, my resulting promiscuity as a teenager, and finally, at 14, my becoming pregnant."
She worried that if anyone found out about the pregnancy, it would damage her career: "I imagined that every person on the street was going to point their finger at me and scream, 'Pregnant at 14, you wicked girl ... expelled!' "
But in fact, she says, "No one said a word ... not strangers, not even people I knew. I was shocked. Nobody treated me differently. For 20 years, I had been expecting a reaction that never came.
"And I soon realized that having the secret out was liberating. ... What I learned for sure was that holding the shame was the greatest burden of all."

The way Victoria Beckham is hemorrhaging her husband's cash, $250 million might not last. Enough, that is, to keep the Beckhams out of the company of such infamous money-sieves as Hammer, Jacko, and Mike Tyson.
Sure, a quarter of a billion dollars seems like a lot, but with Spendy Spice leaf-blowing her family's fortune all over Los Angeles, you never know how long it'll last. The formerly-employed singer, as TMZ reported, recently spent well over $100K on, well, toy planes and diaper bags, as well as custom-designed bedrooms for her boys. She's also looking at $15 million houses, and there's staff and a large entourage at all times with the Beckhams -- whose net worth is already a reported $100 million.
If you scoff at our suggestion that the Becks could flush $250 mil down the drain, we'd like to present to you one MC Hammer. The rap star had amassed a $30 million fortune in just a couple years, but six years, two helicopters, 17 cars, four solid-gold dog chains, and one bedroom-installed dishwasher later, it was bankruptcy time for the Hammer.
Of course, that was chump change compared to the champ, Mike Tyson. The gap-toothed heavyweight blew through a reported $400 million that he'd earned in the ring with such sensible investments as $8,000 Bengal tigers. And then, who can forget the King of Shop himself, Michael Jackson, who thrilled us all on national TV by spending $6 million in a matter of hours in Vegas -- on chess sets and glass urns and other chatch. Now, Jacko's got millions of dollars – in debt!
So, Victoria, we welcome you to the US. But, seriously – Hammer, Tyson, and Jacko are not the kind of financial company you want to keep.
