The fresh additions of Sum 41, Kalan Porter and Feist round out the final list of performers for the 2005 JUNO Awards.

The added performers, officially announced Wednesday by The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and CTV, bring the total number of groups that will hit the stage to 16.

The Junos will air on CTV on Sunday, April 3, from Winnipeg's MTS Centre.

"With these fabulous additions our line-up is complete for what promises to be a spectacular show," said CARAS President Melanie Berry.

Singer-songwriter Leslie Feist received international acclaim with her second solo album, Let It Die. Her moody, melodic pop sound is infused with notes of electronica and jazz. She made her start playing in a high-school punk band called Placebo and later played guitar for By Divine Right. She's also currently a member of Juno Award-winning Broken Social Scene. Feist is nominated this year in the categories of New Artist of the Year, Alternative Album of the Year and Video of the Year.

Sum 41 has sold over five million records worldwide. The Toronto-based quartet's distinct sound is a marriage of hook-heavy punk and metal. Their third and latest album, Chuck, has spawned their first Top 40 hit with "Pieces" -- and has earned the band 2005 Juno Award nominations for Rock Album of the Year and Group of the Year.

Winner of the 2004 Canadian Idol competition, Kalan Porter's debut album 219 Days has gone double platinum. His first single, "Awake In a Dream," went eight times platinum and became the biggest-selling debut single every for a Canadian artist. A versatile performer, Porter is classically-trained on violin and viola and can also play guitar and piano. His current 40-date tour has sold out across the country.
